Old into New

Hello everyone, I am hear with you today with another post for the sewing series. This time its a project. I have taken two of my Dad's old button down shirts and created a dress and a new shirt out of it. I created a video to go with how I did this and hope you enjoy this.

Christmas Haul

Given that I just spent a semester in Paris, there is not much that I asked for Christmas. I was happy to be home as see my family and the United States. So these are the few things that I received this Christmas year. Most of this I received before christmas and knew they where just counting as my christmas gift. I am not going to post photos of what I got since some of the things I will be showing again in another blog post.

MacBook Air
: Now I didn't receive this on Christmas but last week. My previous computer has been malfunctioning and slowly dying for the past couple of months which is why I received a new one. I am grateful non the least and can't wait to see what I will experience with this computer Academically, Professionally, and Personally.

: This was a gift to myself. I started getting back into shape today actually and I knew that I needed a fresh pair of training shoes so that I can reach my weight-loss goals for the new year.

Style_ Monochrome

Monochrome is literally one of my favorite trends that it may just become a big staple in my style. It allows for half the battle of getting dress to be eliminated and one will always look stylish when she wears a monochrome outfit. Here are few monochromatic outfits that I found to be very inspirational.

Paris Haul

I thought I would create a post of all the things that I got for myself in Paris an any other place that I had traveled to over the past four months which include London and Amsterdam. I had also gone to Zadar, Croatia, but I only got souvenir stuff which I don't think is blog worthy.

Paris, France

-I didn't do as much shopping as I thought I would do here given that I was in Paris for 4 months. The main reason I think I didn't do as much shopping is because Paris as a whole is just very expensive. I bout all of these at the same store Kilo Shop, which is a Vintage/Thrift store located near Le Marais. I loved that store a lot, you would buy the clothing by the kilo rather than everything individually priced.

London, England

- In London, I went to East London to Brick Lane for my vintage shopping purchases.  The fur coat was something that I was keeping an eye out for and I was thrilled when I saw this one.

Amsterdam, Netherlands

- I had not actually set out to do some clothing shopping while in Amsterdam since there was so much other things I wanted to do instead. But one morning I was walking around and stumbled upon this vintage store and decided to take a peak. I found this wonderful black and grey graphic sweater and instantly fell in love.

Hello Everyone

So I am creating a new start and creating a new blog. I had a blog previously, but I didn't put the attention it really needed, and instead of just working on that one, I believe it would be better to just start fresh and clean. I know that blogging is actually a tough thing to do, but I have always really wanted to get into real blogging, not just tumblr blogging. I want to be able to look back at something and see the progression of not only the blog, but the progression of me as a person in her 20s trying to figure out where I really want to be in life and who I want to be.

This blog will mainly be about fashion and music hopefully, but it may just end up being about what ever moves me that day. Which may also include beauty, everyday life, and anything else I can think of.

At the moment I am finishing up my semester in Paris and I have a separate blog for that experience which I will link below, but I feel like coming back to the United States, I am not the same person I was when I had left it. I want to document how I move forward in life becoming a young adult and in a few years having to live on my own fully.

I hope you enjoy this blog and I hope this experience will be great for the both of us.  Who knows how long this will last, but I hope that it will be great for however long it its.
