Music Monday_Miley Cyrus :Adore You

Miley has released a new music video past thursday. I will have to say that it was a nice change of pace from her last two videos. This mainly too place in a bed under sheets as she pretended to be seducing the camera. What I liked about it was the no make up make up look she rocked the whole video, the fact that she never did anything too vulgar and that I felt an emotion of what she was trying to emit to the camera.  Hope you enjoy it like I did.

Christmas Haul

Given that I just spent a semester in Paris, there is not much that I asked for Christmas. I was happy to be home as see my family and the United States. So these are the few things that I received this Christmas year. Most of this I received before christmas and knew they where just counting as my christmas gift. I am not going to post photos of what I got since some of the things I will be showing again in another blog post.

MacBook Air
: Now I didn't receive this on Christmas but last week. My previous computer has been malfunctioning and slowly dying for the past couple of months which is why I received a new one. I am grateful non the least and can't wait to see what I will experience with this computer Academically, Professionally, and Personally.

: This was a gift to myself. I started getting back into shape today actually and I knew that I needed a fresh pair of training shoes so that I can reach my weight-loss goals for the new year.

Movie Monday_Exhiles

Instead of music for this week I thought I would choose a short film staring Troian Bellisario and Shane Coffey. It is about the alternative ending to the most epic love story Romeo and Juliet.  What I love about this film is that at first I didn't know who the two characters where, given that I didn't do some research on it first. But I think that helped my experience, it made me try to figure out what was going on. I won't give much away, but I think it is a wonderful piece that Troian wrote. Style_ Monochrome

Monochrome is literally one of my favorite trends that it may just become a big staple in my style. It allows for half the battle of getting dress to be eliminated and one will always look stylish when she wears a monochrome outfit. Last night I went to the movies to see American Hustle and had P.F. Changs with my parents. I should have gotten a full body shot when my mom took a photo of me in front of the Christmas tree at the Sherman Oaks Galleria but this will have to do.

New Hair_New Me

I went to the Hair Salon yesterday and got myself a new look. Since my personal hair is short, I created
some clip-in hair extensions and took that with me to get them cut and colored to blend with my hair better. I can't wait to test this hair out and hopefully learn some great tips for growing out hair and maintaing clip-in hair extensions.

Paris Haul

I thought I would create a post of all the things that I got for myself in Paris an any other place that I had traveled to over the past four months which include London and Amsterdam. I had also gone to Zadar, Croatia, but I only got souvenir stuff which I don't think is blog worthy.

Paris, France

-I didn't do as much shopping as I thought I would do here given that I was in Paris for 4 months. The main reason I think I didn't do as much shopping is because Paris as a whole is just very expensive. I bout all of these at the same store Kilo Shop, which is a Vintage/Thrift store located near Le Marais. I loved that store a lot, you would buy the clothing by the kilo rather than everything individually priced.

London, England

- In London, I went to East London to Brick Lane for my vintage shopping purchases.  The fur coat was something that I was keeping an eye out for and I was thrilled when I saw this one.

Amsterdam, Netherlands

- I had not actually set out to do some clothing shopping while in Amsterdam since there was so much other things I wanted to do instead. But one morning I was walking around and stumbled upon this vintage store and decided to take a peak. I found this wonderful black and grey graphic sweater and instantly fell in love.

The Holidays and Health

It feels like during the holidays the  awareness of someones health in regards to their physique and eating habits are either even more aware than before or they are forgotten completely. It feels like especially for me since I have just came back from a semester of Crepes and bad eating, I have become more conscious of what I will be eating this holiday season.

To get me back on track of a healthy lifestyle,  I  will be eating a ton more fruits and vegetables these next couple of weeks since that was what I lacked most in Paris. I did drink a lot of water in Paris, but I will try to get the 2 Liter that I tried to drink/day but missed the mark sometimes. In addition to that I will try to get some more deliberate walks in, which will be easy since I have two dogs, and to get back into Yoga.

I will try to keep you up to date on everything, while still enjoying the holiday season.

Tumblr Tuesday

I always love to see girls who can rock the tattoos and look very chic at the same. I hope to have at least one sleeve in 3 years an be able dress like the bad a** this girl looks like.

Colored Hair

So for the past year and a half, I have been dying my hair shades of pink. The first time I dyed my hair pink, it was very vibrant, but in the past couple of times, I have chosen a more cranberry/burgundy color. Overall, I think colors like these are just amazing and is a great way to express oneself, and it doesn't necessarily have to be permanent with hair chalks and sprays.

Music Monday_M.I.A "Y.A.L.A"

This is just a very fun song and video. I will have to say that if strobing neon lights are not your thing, this video is not for you. But for me, all I want to do when I play this song an video is just dance. What I think makes this video even more special is the collaboration with Kenzo for the clothing. The graphic prints add a new level to the video an M.I.A looks gorgeous in them as always. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I think that Tumblr sometimes has some of the best photos, but sometimes they get lost since there are so many photos that are great. To see them on an individual platform will allow us to appreciate them more.

Music Monday

So one thing I liked about my previous blog is that I posted Music Mondays. It would be a song that I had discovered or re-discovered over the past week or two and I share the video with you. I hope that you enjoy this segment as much as I do.

For this week I bring to you Lana Del Rey. I will first have to tell you that she is one one of my favorite singers for the moment. She just released her short film "Tropico" which includes three of her songs off her album. ( Body Electric, Bel Air, and Gods and Monsters) This video was very entertaining and I loved the progression of the story. Lana never fails to create a story that has depth and makes you think a bit. I hope for the best for her in the future and can't wait to see what she creates next.

Hello Everyone

So I am creating a new start and creating a new blog. I had a blog previously, but I didn't put the attention it really needed, and instead of just working on that one, I believe it would be better to just start fresh and clean. I know that blogging is actually a tough thing to do, but I have always really wanted to get into real blogging, not just tumblr blogging. I want to be able to look back at something and see the progression of not only the blog, but the progression of me as a person in her 20s trying to figure out where I really want to be in life and who I want to be.

This blog will mainly be about fashion and music hopefully, but it may just end up being about what ever moves me that day. Which may also include beauty, everyday life, and anything else I can think of.

At the moment I am finishing up my semester in Paris and I have a separate blog for that experience which I will link below, but I feel like coming back to the United States, I am not the same person I was when I had left it. I want to document how I move forward in life becoming a young adult and in a few years having to live on my own fully.

I hope you enjoy this blog and I hope this experience will be great for the both of us.  Who knows how long this will last, but I hope that it will be great for however long it its.
